Undredal is a small valley located just a 15-minute drive from Gudvangen. Until 1988, the only way to reach Undredal was by ferry, but now there's a good road connection. In Undredal, you can visit Norway’s smallest stave church, a charming medieval church. You can also stop by the famous Undredal Stølysteri, where traditional goat cheese is made. The cheeses here have a rich history and are produced the same way they have been for generations. Every year, Undredal hosts its own festival, the Goat Cheese Festival, where local delicacies and traditions are celebrated with music, activities, and of course, plenty of delicious goat cheese. The festival is a highlight for both locals and visitors, offering an authentic taste of life in this beautiful fjord village.
